About the Course

During this pre-season week, students focus on preparing for the upcoming competition by diving into the newly released game manual. They will carefully study the rules and scoring system to gain a deep understanding of this season’s objectives. Based on these insights, the team will begin building the “hero robot” to explore potential mechanisms and strategies. Once the initial robot is constructed, students will conduct detailed analysis of its strengths and weaknesses, identifying key areas for improvement. They will then transition into robot background research and shape the team's strategic direction for this year’s robot design.
