Learn the fundamentals of programming with C++ —a powerful, industry-standard language used everywhere from robotics and engineering to games and high-performance software. This course is designed for students who want to move beyond “just following steps” and start thinking like problem-solvers: breaking big challenges into smaller parts, writing clear and organized code, and iterating through real debugging and improvement.

 

Classes are hands-on and project-driven. Each session includes instructor-led teaching and demonstrations, followed by guided practice where students work through progressively tougher problems with support and feedback. As students build confidence, they’ll apply core programming ideas to mini-projects that feel like real software: programs with user input, logic, data, and reusable components. Along the way, students develop habits that matter in any technical field—precision, persistence, and the ability to learn independently.

 

By the end of this 16-sessions course, successful students will be able to design, write, and troubleshoot their own C++ programs, understand how to structure larger projects, and confidently continue into advanced programming, robotics, or competition-focused work.
