If you are passionate about Robotics and also enjoy teaching children, we are here looking for instructors for either afterschool (3:00-5:30pm during the week and 9am-5pm at weekends), or summer camp (Mon to Fri, 9am-4pm, June to Aug).
As a STEM Instructor your responsibilities will include:

Instruct a group of up to 4-6 students through our guided VEX and LEGO robotics classes.

Teach building, programming, engineering and robotics classes following pre-designed curriculum as a base, but be able to improve and create further teaching content individually.

Get familiar with VEX and LEGO robotics products and know-how to build, program, trouble-shoot the robots prior to class starts. Adequately prepare for each session by reading curriculum, watching training videos and/or participating in training sessions.

Provide guidance and support to students as they work on individual and group projects.

Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Communicate with parents if needed, i.e. sharing their children's successes!

Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.

Assisting with marketing events.

Helping with daily operations, such as welcoming, dismissing students, cleaning up classrooms etc.
Qualifications:

You must love working with kids!

Bachelor's degree completed or in pursuing in a STEM related field.

Have previous experience working with children in a classroom, camp, or similar environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.

Authorized to work in US.
Preferred if you have:

Previous experience teaching robotics (FIRST or VEX robotics). Competition experience highly preferred.

Familiarity with block-based drag and drop programming languages.
