About the Course

What’s Included: Robot Materials * Building, testing, and upgrade materials for up to two robots per team. Technology Access * One team laptop for programming and documentation needs. Coaching Commitment * A minimum of 6 coach hours per week dedicated to: **Guiding robot research, design, and iterative improvements **Supporting teamwork, programming, and competition readiness (in-state and out-of-state) **Coaching in time management, risk assessment, presentation skills, and leadership development Facility Access * Unlimited student access to the classroom and competition field, excluding after-business hours, holidays, and school breaks ​​What’s Not Included: * Federal holidays and school breaks, including: *Labor Day: Sep 1, 2025 *Thanksgiving Break: Nov 27 – Nov 30, 2025 *Christmas and New Year Break: Dec 23, 2025 – Jan 4, 2026 *Winter Break: Feb 16 – 20, 2026 *Spring Break: Apr 20 – 24, 2026 *Memorial Weekend: May 23-25, 2026 * Competition event registration fees * Travel expenses Team Composition: * Size: 4–6 members per team * Roles: Builders, Designer, Coders, Notebook Managers, Strategist, Scout, Captain ​​Team Levels: *Middle School Division: Grades 8–9 *High School Division: Grades 10–12 Payments: * $5,000 due by the first week of September 2025 * $4,500 due by the first week of January 2026 Promotions: * Legacy Discount: 5% off for returning competition students * Sibling Discount: 5% off for additional family members
